The annual meeting is an opportunity to interact with thought leaders across all medical disciplines and subspecialties and members describe it as rewarding and distinct from the specialty society meetings that many attend. Members are encouraged to nominate outstanding investigators from around the country, and to support the organization’s efforts to advocate for the role of physician scientists in the US and global biomedical research enterprise.
